Temperature and Humidity Display Standardization

Hi everyone! I’ve been exploring ways to standardize the display of temperature and humidity across different devices and brands in my smart home setup. The inconsistency in decimal places and symbols is a bit frustrating, as seen in the example image. Some devices show no decimal places, while others show up to four, and the symbols vary too—some show just the degree symbol, others include the ‘C’ or even the percentage sign for humidity.

I wonder if there’s a way to create a uniform presentation without relying on each device’s default settings. Maybe through a custom integration or a dashboard configuration? I’d love to hear if anyone has successfully tackled this issue or has suggestions on how to approach it.

For instance, having all temperature readings display with one decimal place and consistently using ‘°C’ or ‘°F’ would make the interface much cleaner and easier to read. Similarly, ensuring humidity is always shown with a ‘%’ symbol would add consistency.

Any thoughts or experiences on this would be greatly appreciated! Let’s brainstorm together how we can achieve a more standardized and visually appealing display for our smart home metrics.
