Temperature & Humidity Sensor going offline after battery replacement 🤔

Hi Aqara fam

I’m running into something odd with my Aqara Temperature & Humidity Sensor, and this has never happened to me before, so I wanted to ask for advice.

A few days ago, the sensor went offline.
I checked the battery, replaced it with a brand-new one, and the device came back online immediately and started reporting temperature and humidity normally.

However… after some hours, it went offline again

Here’s what I’ve already checked:
:battery: Battery shows Normal
:signal_strength: Signal strength shows Excellent
:clock3: Last time online updates correctly
:round_pushpin: Device hasn’t been moved (same location as always)
:house: Hub is working fine with all other Aqara devices

This sensor has been rock-solid for a long time, so the behavior is new to me — especially right after a battery replacement.

Before I remove and re-add it, I wanted to ask:
• Has anyone experienced this after changing the battery?
• Could it be a calibration/sync issue after replacement?
• Any tips or best practices to prevent it from going offline again?

Appreciate any insights
Thanks in advance, Aqara Fam!
