Temperature Monitoring and Automation: My Experience with ADC Smart Thermostat

Hello all, I wanted to share my experience with the ADC Smart Thermostat and how it has transformed how I monitor and control temperatures in my home. I’ve been using it to keep an eye on both my server in a lock box and my home entertainment system in a cabinet, which can get pretty hot. While I love the thermostat’s ability to track temperatures, I’ve been wondering if it’s the best solution for my needs. Is there another way to monitor these areas effectively? I’d also love to know if I can set a temperature threshold and have it alert me if things get too hot. I’m a bit worried about the fans stopping, so having that extra layer of monitoring would be great.

One feature I’m really curious about is the remote sensors. Can I use them to adjust my heater and air-conditioning based on specific rooms? For example, if I have a remote sensor in my master bedroom, can the thermostat adjust the temperature there without affecting the sensors in the server box or entertainment center? And what if I move to the kitchen, which has its own sensor? Can I switch the thermostat to adjust based on the kitchen’s temperature instead? I’m also wondering how many sensors I can add to the thermostat. The more I think about it, the more questions I have, but I’m really excited to explore all the possibilities! Thanks in advance for your insights and experiences.
