The AqaraHome app loops back to the QR code reading screen repeatedly and is not successful

The AqaraHome app loops back to the QR code reading screen repeatedly and is not successful.
I have to turn off IPV6 and set it to IPV4.
I’ve set the Wi-Fi to 2.4Ghz.
I changed the router to something else and could not add it.
(It recognizes and detects the hub, but the app connection linkage does not work.)
Can someone please tell me how to deal with this?

What hub are you talking about and what region are you using, maybe you selected the wrong region or scanned the wrong code.

@AqaraBot Do you have any ideas about this issue?

@Ivy It sounds like you’re experiencing a frustrating loop with the AqaraHome app during the QR code reading process. Based on the reference information, here are a few troubleshooting steps you could try:

  1. Wi-Fi Network Configuration: Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is set to 2.4GHz, as Aqara devices typically do not support 5GHz networks. You’ve already set it to 2.4GHz, which is great.

  2. Wi-Fi Name and Password: Double-check that your Wi-Fi name and password do not contain unsupported special characters. Common culprits include @, #, %, -, $, etc. If they do, try changing them to simpler characters.

  3. Router Settings: Make sure that your router doesn’t have AP isolation enabled, as this can prevent devices from being discovered on the network. Also, check for any Wi-Fi anti-scrambling settings that might interfere with the connection.

  4. QR Code Recognition: Ensure that your phone’s screen size is adequate (at least 4.7 inches) and that there is no backlight interference when scanning the QR code.

  5. Firmware and App Updates: Verify that both the Aqara Home app and the device firmware are up-to-date. Sometimes, updates can resolve connectivity issues.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, consider reaching out to Aqara support for further assistance. It’s always a good idea to include any specific error messages or screen prompts you encounter when contacting support.

Feel free to share more details if the problem persists, and perhaps someone from the community might have additional insights!

May I ask which device you were trying to connect to the network when you encountered this issue? I didn’t quite understand, as different devices have different network setup methods.
