Thermostat E1 and Multi-Sensor FP300

Hello colleagues,

I didn’t find similar information on the forum and decided to share it with you. If someone has the same configuration, I guess the information below will be useful.

Question to Aqara support:

Hello Aqara support team,

I am your satisfied customer who has over 80 accessories and I would like to ask you about the following situation/configuration.

Yesterday I bought a FP300 and wanted to use its temperature sensor to control the E1 thermostat, but it turns out that it is not in the list of thermostats. I see all the others (T1, TVOC, W100), but not the FP300. E1 and FP300 are on the same hub (m3 - zigbee) and all devices have the latest firmware version.

At the same time, I was one of the lucky ones who registered for the thermostat W600 and received it for testing. The W600 can associate the FP300 as a temperature sensor, but not the E1.

Should I understand that E1 does not support FP300 as an external temperature sensor, or am I doing something wrong?

I look forward ro your reply.

Thank you in advance for your assistance !!!

Answer:

Hi Krasimir,

Sorry for the delayed reply — we were out over the weekend.
Apologies, E1’s current firmware does not support the fp300 temperature link.
I have forwarded this request to our R&D department to see if this feature can be included in future firmware updates.
Thank you for your feedback.

I hope you find it useful.
Have a good week !!!

@saint Thanks for sharing this detailed experience! It’s really helpful for users who have both the Aqara Radiator Thermostat E1 and Presence Multi-Sensor FP300. Your exploration of the compatibility issue and the clear support response you received will definitely save others time and confusion when setting up similar configurations.

It’s great to see you actively testing and providing feedback to the team—this kind of user input is super valuable for product improvements. If you have more findings or tips in the future, feel free to share them here. Have a fantastic week!

Hello, thank you for your suggestion. FP300, as a newly listed product, will be supported by more other products in the future. At present, we are already adapting it. I hope to wait patiently and support it soon!

try fp300 zigbee mode

Hello,

Thanks for the advice, but it’s in Zigbee mode and doesn’t work (I wrote it in the question to support “m3 - zigbee”, but apparently I didn’t express myself correctly).

Thanks…
