Interesting. I was considering buying this because the W100 also has no automation triggers to turn on or off heating. I don’t know why Aqara makes these devices not very functional for automations.

Here is the video. 4 different triggers were created. However, automation initialization occurs only when the screen is turned on and off. In this case, the status of the relay itself does not matter. But the status of the relay is a more important issue than the status of the screen.

The same situation applies to the IF category. What is more important in automation - is the screen on or off, or is it still possible that the relay switches the load? Unfortunately, aqara believes that screen status is more important.

Everything is fine with the W500 relay. You did not connect it via the Zigbee channel, which is why access is so limited.

May I add, it’s not only automations and control in the Aqara App. Aqara promises “Works with HomeAssistant” as well, but the W500 is unusable in HA without complex MQTT Publish (and you can not address middle row anyway). I was thrilled when I’ve bought my W500. I wanted to buy another 11 units to other rooms, but in this state of SW I need to pass. And it is just SW feature that could be unlocked, improved.
I bought 12 of them. And I’m still happy, because I have hope
