Hello everyone, I recently came across the ThinkEco Modlet and was intrigued by its features—it measures energy usage, has two outlets per unit, and is even on sale at Best Buy for $24.99! I’m curious to know if anyone has experience with this device and if it’s compatible with SmartThings. I’d love to use it to monitor my energy consumption and control my outlets through the SmartThings app.
If it is compatible, does it provide detailed usage reports directly within the app, or would I need additional setup? I’m not very tech-savvy, so I’m hoping there’s an existing app or setup that can simplify the process.
I’ve heard that the Modlet has a hub that plugs into a computer via USB, but I’d prefer everything to be in one place without the need for a separate hub. Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!
For those who have successfully integrated the ThinkEco Modlet into their SmartThings setup, I’d love to hear about your experience—what worked well, any challenges you faced, and how you overcame them. Sharing your knowledge would be incredibly helpful for someone like me who’s just starting out with smart home devices.
Thank you in advance for your advice and support!
