To mount my doorbell for the best view, I need to extend it out from the door frame ( my door is inset into a brick facade). Has anyone found any good options?

Yes, not only for better visibility, but also to avoid radar reflection from the wall affecting target detection, the doorbell should be installed outside. If you use a power cord to power the doorbell, I think the most difficult problem is how to hide the power cord. This usually requires large tools such as impact drills (non wooden walls), and users need professional operating skills. If the wall is not flat, some auxiliary materials (such as wooden boards) need to be used. In short, it is indeed a difficult task to achieve.

I did find a 3-d printed mounting solution, but at nearly $80 shipped it’s a bit expensive. still looking for other options. I have to push the mount 2 5/8 inches away from the door frame to get a clear view of the entire front of the house.
