So I went down the rabbit hole of Aqara automations and ended up stumbling on a few offbeat but seriously cool ways to use my devices that I hadn’t seen much talk about. Figured I’d share a few here, maybe spark some ideas.
Like this one: I set my Vibration Sensor on the mailbox. When it’s opened? Boom, I get a notification. No more wandering out just to find it empty. Another one—Motion Sensor in the fridge. Yeah, I know it sounds weird, but it reminds me if no one’s opened it for like half a day (helps when roommates are out and stuff might spoil).
Also played around with using the Cube as a physical remote for scenes. One flip dims lights and starts chill music, double-tap fires up the “Work Mode” with bright lights and silent focus playlist.
