My P100 sensor that I received for testing has an issue with tracking the open/close state. It is installed on my garage door. The door is closed, but the sensor shows that the door is open, even though I calibrated everything correctly before.
Is this happening to everyone or just me? Should we expect some kind of fix?

Try calibrating the sensor in a different door position; perhaps you calibrated it with the door open.
I hope a setting to invert the sensor’s state will appear; this setting is very necessary.

You can try the lowest sensitivity, which allows for larger geomagnetic difference from calibratated status when the door is closed.
If you are using zigbee mode, you can also just use posture function for garage door.
This problem is most likely caused by the garage door often having a motor and a large number of iron products that may contain magnets, which leads to changes in the geomagnetic environment. We are also considering using the garage door as a unique type of door and separately using a gyroscope and accelerometer to determine the opening and closing only based on the degree of tilt.
