Transferring Wyze Cam Plus Ownership: A Smooth Transition?

Hi everyone! I hope this post finds you all well. I’ve been using Wyze Cam Plus devices for a while now, and they’ve been a great addition to my smart home setup. Currently, I have four outdoor cameras and a couple of Wyze Cam plugs that I’ve been managing through my account. However, I’ve reached a point where I’d like to transfer the ownership and administrative rights of these devices to my girlfriend. She’s been actively using them and would like to take over as the primary account owner, including handling the subscription payments.

I’ve already tried moving some cameras from a different network to ours, but unfortunately, that resulted in some of them getting bricked. This experience has made me a bit hesitant about attempting the transfer again. I’m worried that if I log out of my account and factory reset the cameras, they might not function correctly or could get damaged in the process.

I’ve considered creating a new account for her and canceling my existing one, but I’m not sure if that’s the most efficient way to go about it. Is there a smoother method to transfer ownership without risking the devices? I’d really appreciate any advice or step-by-step guidance the community can offer.
