I’ve recently completed a home project that I’m really excited to share! After months of planning, I finally installed a set of Govee H6087 Wall Sconces in my living room. The process was a bit challenging, but the end result is absolutely stunning.
I decided to go with a unique X pattern installation, which adds a modern touch to the space. Instead of the traditional up or down orientation, I wanted something that would make the wall feel more integrated and less left out. Running the wires inside the wall was a bit of a DIY adventure, but it made the setup look seamless.
One of the highlights was creating a custom DIY Cylon eye effect for these sconces. None of the existing models worked perfectly, so I took the plunge and designed my own. The result is something truly unique that adds a fun tech vibe to my living room.
If you’re considering a similar project, I’d recommend starting with a clear plan and maybe even sketching out the layout beforehand. Testing different patterns and ensuring the wiring is done safely is crucial. The effort really pays off in the end!
