Yesterday I had a problem with all matter sensors (two P2 motion sensors) and all connected Hue lights in Aqara app. Deleted the two P2 sensors and tried readding them but neither would add at all. Tried rebooting M3 etc. but nothing worked for anything matter on my two M3 hubs.
Turns out the problem was that I earlier added a motion sensor on a hue hub. Everything was fine on Google home and Hue (and homekit) but not on Aqara. I had to remove all Hue devices from Aqara and readd them after which I could readd the P2 devices fine. Unfortunately readding Hue to Aqara is seriously messy as names are not kept - you get the generic device labels and nothing else.
Aqara hub should not fail matter devices just because you add a device in another system and the Hue integration should be rewritten as not to get generic names. (My other two systems Google Home and Homekit handled the add of matter device fine)
@mchr1 It sounds like you’ve encountered a challenging situation with your Aqara M3 hubs and Matter sensors, particularly with integrating Hue devices. From your description, it seems that the issues arose after adding a motion sensor to the Hue hub, which disrupted the connection within the Aqara environment but not in Google Home or HomeKit.
For resolving issues with Matter devices on the Aqara Hub, ensure that your M3 hubs are updated to the latest firmware and that your network supports IPv6, as this is essential for Matter protocols. Restarting both the hub and the sensors is a good step, although it seems like you’ve already tried that without success initially.
Regarding the renaming and generic labels when re-adding Hue devices to Aqara, this is indeed a known inconvenience. Unfortunately, the current system may not retain custom names when devices are removed and re-added, which can be cumbersome.
Your feedback on the need for improved integration between Aqara and Hue devices is valuable. The community and developers often appreciate such insights as they can help drive better user experiences in future updates.

Did you add Hue lights via Matter or via Hue Hub (Zigbee)?
I added the hue lights via matter to aqara before the add of extra sensor.
Have today confirmed the problem as I added another two hue motion sensors and all matter sensors (both hue and Aqara) are now again unavailable.
Very poor implementation in Aqara.
Google home handled adding the two new sensors perfectly in contrast to Aqara.
Should say - the sensors are all added to Hue hub as normal for Hue items. Just adding the sensors to Hue makes Aqara hub misfu
nction for all matter senors.
