Hello everyone, I hope this message finds you well! I wanted to reach out and share some experiences I’ve had with my Blink cameras and outdoor camera setup. I’m hoping someone might have some insights or solutions to these issues.
First, I have nine Blink Mini cameras installed throughout my home, and I’ve noticed that one of them makes a clicking noise every five minutes while it’s unarmed. I’ve checked all the cameras, and it’s definitely just this one causing the issue. I’ve looked through the forums and seen others mention similar problems, but unfortunately, there haven’t been any definitive answers yet. Does anyone have any ideas or troubleshooting steps I could try to resolve this?
Secondly, I’ve been having trouble with my outdoor cameras. They work perfectly when they’re plugged into the sync module, but as soon as I unplug them, they stop refreshing and lose their connection. Even if they’re just an inch away from the module, they still don’t work when unplugged. The network strength and connection to the sync module are both showing as full, so I’m not sure what else could be causing this. I’ve reset the module, power-cycled the cameras, and even reconnected everything from scratch, but the issue persists. I’m starting to think it might be a firmware or software issue, but I’m not entirely sure. Has anyone else experienced something similar or found a workaround?
I’m really hoping to get these issues sorted out so I can have reliable monitoring both indoors and outdoors. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
