Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with setting up a Google Nest Hub. It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster, but I think I’ve figured it out! Hopefully, this can help someone else who’s struggling with the same issue.
So, the problem started when I tried to set up my new Nest Hub. The device would show the Google logo for about 20 seconds, then move on to the update screen. It would get to 100%, restart, and repeat the cycle. My Home app kept telling me the Nest Hub was set up but couldn’t connect to it. This was frustrating because the device had worked perfectly fine for several months before.
I tried everything I could think of: using a different outlet, performing a factory reset, and even trying out two different phones and a mobile hotspot. Nothing worked. I was starting to think I might need to return the device, but I didn’t want to give up just yet.
Then, I stumbled upon a suggestion online about checking the power cord. I hadn’t thought about that before, but it turns out my power cord was faulty. Once I replaced it, the Nest Hub started working like a charm! It’s amazing how something so simple can cause such a big issue.
I wanted to share this in case anyone else is experiencing the same problem. Sometimes, it’s the little things that make a big difference. If you’re having trouble with your Nest Hub, double-check your power cord and outlet before giving up!
Has anyone else had similar issues with their Nest Hub? I’d love to hear if there are other solutions or if this problem is more common than I thought. Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other out!
Cheers,
