Hi everyone, I’ve been using my Govee H6163 lights for a few years now, and they’ve been a reliable addition to my smart home setup. Recently, I stumbled upon the feature that allows controlling these lights through Alexa, which I’m really excited about! However, I’ve encountered a bit of a hiccup that I’m hoping the community can help me resolve.
I followed the instructions to activate the Govee Home skill on Alexa, and the lights do show up in the Alexa app. But here’s the issue—when I try to turn them on or off using voice commands, nothing happens. I’ve tried deleting and re-adding the skill several times, but the problem persists. It’s frustrating because the lights work perfectly fine with the Govee app, just not through Alexa.
I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there’s a workaround or solution. Maybe there’s a setting I’m missing or a specific way to pair the lights with Alexa. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.
