Hey everyone, I’m relatively new to Home Assistant and I wanted to share my experience and ask for some advice. I recently set up a GE Z-Wave Motion Sensor, and it was working perfectly to trigger a switch. However, I noticed there were some associated entities I wasn’t using, so I decided to hide them. I added the configuration to hide a specific entity, but to my surprise, related entities also got hidden, including the one I was actively using for my automation. 
I tried removing the part of the configuration that hid the entity, rebooted multiple times, and even checked the forums and documentation, but nothing seemed to work. It was frustrating because I couldn’t figure out why the entities weren’t coming back. I was about to unpair and re-pair the sensor, but I thought I’d reach out here first to see if anyone had any insights. 
Has anyone else encountered similar issues with hiding entities in Home Assistant? I’m curious if there’s a more reliable way to manage entity visibility without affecting related functionalities. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!
