Hi everyone, I’m trying to set up a doorbell chime using Homey, but I’m running into a bit of trouble. Let me walk you through what I’ve done so far and where I’m stuck.
I’ve created a flow in Homey where pressing the physical doorbell should trigger a sound on my Amazon Echo. The flow seems to work when I test it manually, but when I press the actual doorbell, nothing happens. The doorbell light on Homey does turn on, indicating it’s detected the press, but the sound doesn’t play.
Here’s what I’ve checked so far:
- Device Connections: Both the doorbell and Echo are properly connected to Homey.
- Flow Configuration: The flow is set up correctly, with the doorbell as the trigger and the Echo as the action.
- Echo Settings: The Echo is in the same room as the doorbell and is set to receive notifications.
I also noticed that I can’t activate the Athom Skill on Amazon Alexa, which might be related. I’ve tried resetting the flow and重新连接设备，但问题依旧。
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I’d love to hear if there are any troubleshooting steps I might have missed or if there’s a workaround. I’m really hoping to get this working smoothly, as it’s a key part of my home automation setup.
