Hello everyone, I’m reaching out to the community for some guidance on a couple of integration issues I’ve been encountering with my smart home setup. I’ve been using OpenHAB for a while now, and while it’s been a fantastic experience overall, I’ve hit a couple of bumps in the road recently that I’m hoping you can help me with.
First, let me talk about my Z-Wave devices. After upgrading to OpenHAB 3.1.0-SNAPSHOT, I noticed that several of my Z-Wave devices, particularly my Oomi Switch FT116, were no longer updating their states automatically. This was a bit perplexing because everything was working perfectly fine in OpenHAB 2.5.11. I tried a variety of troubleshooting steps, including deleting and re-adding the items and things, restarting the system, and even cleaning the cache. Unfortunately, the issue persists, and the only way I can get the states to update is by manually triggering an update through the OpenHAB interface.
I’m curious if anyone else has experienced similar issues after upgrading to OpenHAB 3 and if there are any known fixes or workarounds for this problem. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Moving on to my Fritzbox integration, I’ve recently set up my Fritzbox router with OpenHAB, and while most features are working as expected, I’m encountering some warnings related to the PHONEBOOK profile. The logs repeatedly show messages indicating that no ProfileFactory supports the ‘transform:PHONEBOOK’ profile. I’m not entirely sure what this means or how to resolve it. Has anyone else faced this issue when integrating their Fritzbox router? Are there additional configurations or settings I need to implement to get the phonebook integration working properly?
I’m really excited about the potential of OpenHAB and the Fritzbox integration, but these issues are preventing me from fully realizing that potential. I’m hoping the community can shed some light on these problems and help me get everything up and running smoothly.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance! If anyone has encountered similar issues or has any tips or tricks to share, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other overcome these hurdles!
