Is there any way to turn off or reduce low battery notifications in the Aqara Hub? I am away from home and have been sent a notification every 10 minutes about a low battery (who in Aqara thought this was a good idea?). I have had to turn off all notifications until I get home, but am hoping someone can explain how to turn off/reduce individual sensor notifications.
Thanks
@jonathan_rostron1969 Hi there! I completely understand the frustration of being bombarded with frequent alerts, especially when you’re away from home.
While it might feel like an annoyance, these frequent low-battery alerts are actually a critical safety feature designed to prevent you from being locked out of your home, as smart locks and hubs can consume power unpredictably when the battery is critically low. The system is designed to ensure the alert isn’t missed among other phone notifications, giving you ample time to act.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a specific setting to reduce the frequency of these critical low-battery warnings for individual sensors or hubs, as they are tied to the device’s safety status rather than general push notification preferences. The most effective way to stop these alerts is to replace the batteries with high-quality alkaline ones as soon as possible.
If you are looking to manage other types of notifications (like system announcements or automation alerts), you can adjust those in the Aqara Home app under Profile > Settings > Push Notification Settings. However, please note that alarm notifications and critical safety alerts are enabled by default and cannot be turned off.

This will be more efficient. If you do not have an Aqara Home account, “Please

Why are they a critical safety feature, the are for a TRV and the battery is not yet dead. Yes, they are handy prompts that the battery is low, but 10 minutes notifications is ridiculous. Please have a sense of proportionality when designing these things.
