Tuya Integration Issue: Double Temperature Readings and Whole Numbers

Hey everyone,

I’m reaching out for some help with my Tuya integration in Home Assistant. I’ve recently set up a new system (Core 109.2) and integrated some Tuya devices, including thermostats. However, I’m encountering a peculiar issue where the temperature readings are showing double the actual value. For example, instead of displaying 25°C, it shows 50°C. Additionally, the temperature only displays whole numbers, which is a bit frustrating for precise control.

I did some research and found a potential solution on GitHub. I tried creating the necessary custom components folder and adding the required files. However, upon restarting Home Assistant, I encountered an ‘invalid config’ error, and the integration didn’t work as expected. I even tried removing the manifest.json file to see if that would resolve the issue, but the temperature problems persisted.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with Tuya integration? I’d really appreciate any advice or guidance on how to correctly configure this or if there are alternative methods to fix the temperature display. Your insights would be invaluable!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best regards,
