U100 - Latch could not fully retract or extend

Hello, I installed the U100 on my front door a week or so ago and it was working fine. All of a sudden, every time I unlock it in a way that isn’t physically turning the knob, I get the alarm with an error in the logs “Latch could not fully retract or extend”.

The thing is though, it is fully retracted and the door opens no problem. I just have to listen to that stupid alarm every time I come in the house, and because it errors out, the auto lock feature doesn’t activate. Any ideas?

I’m on firmware 3.0.0_0031. It has no problems ever with locking itself, only unlocking. Thanks

Had a similar issue with my U100. I ended up making the hole for the deadbolt slightly bigger. My lock was fine at first, by operating the deadbolt by hand I could feel it was sometimes grinding against something inside the hole.
It didn’t happen all the time: depended on how the door was positioned when closed (sometimes it’s a little more outward than at other times).
Anyway, that did fix the issue for me.
