Hi,
On both my U200 and U200 lite they both sometimes will unlock/lock slowly. This is with “nighttime” disabled.
This happens either using turn assist or when activated via aqara app/home assistant/apple home.

I have a U200 and sometimes, regardless of the time of day, the lock can be very slow to open. I don’t know what causes this.
Hi Hatton920 &gonzolex, It is currently known that calibration may be lost after an OTA update or a reset, requiring a slow unlock to re-detect the travel range. May I ask how frequently you encounter this issue? And after it occurs, does it return to normal afterward?
My calibration is fine and works perfectly.
I was connected via email by Isabel on the back of this post and I attached a video for them to view.
They suggested that it will slow lock/unlock if I turn the dial slowly whilst assisted unlock/lock is turned on. During my video you can see using a fast movement it will lock/unlock slowly. This happened roughly 50% in the video.

As I wrote earlier, I also have this problem, where the lock sometimes opens normally and sometimes slowly. I don’t know what causes it, because as you can see in the video, the speed at which you turn the knob doesn’t matter.
The lock doesn’t lose its calibration and generally works correctly. Except that sometimes it does it very slowly.
We sincerely apologize for only seeing your message now. This issue is caused by the algorithm. We will add a function to disable movement-following on the U200 LITE. However, we regret to inform you that, for the time being, we are unable to implement this feature on the U200 due to certain constraints.
Hi,
What is movement-following?
I don’t know if it was clear in the video, but both #Hatton920 and I wrote that the speed at which the knob is turned has no effect on the speed at which the lock closes.
In the video, you can see that I turn the knob quickly, but the lock closes slowly.
Currently, the design of both U200 and U200 Lite has the movement-following feature enabled by default. This means that when the knob is rotated quickly, it will rotate quickly, and when it is rotated slowly by hand, it will rotate slowly. However, due to an issue in the current door lock algorithm, the bug you mentioned can occur.
We will restore the option for users on the U200 Lite to choose whether to enable the movement-following feature. When this feature is disabled, the knob will rotate at a standard fixed speed.
I wonder this explanation is clear.
Why can’t this bug be fixed for the u200 too?
