U200 brand new - homekit not working

Hi.

Just got a brand new U200 door lock together with an doorbell g4.
The doorbell was setup and connected to apple homekit without any problems.

How ever i face the same issue as many other with my U200, that i won´t connect to homekit.

Homekit hub is a new AppleTV 4k.
iphone 16, ios 18.5
Aqara home app newest from app store
Updated to newest firmware (80)
Reset serval times and setup from scratch again.
removed the battery
Tried connecting to homekit many times by pressing the SET and then add it in homekit by scanning the qr code.
Tried to make a new home in homekit as well
The error just says can´t connect to homekit.

The issue is discussed many places on the internet, but can´t find a working solution
Have some of you with the same issue out there managed to solve this issue ?

@aqara61 It sounds like you’re experiencing a common frustration with connecting the U200 lock to HomeKit. Here are a few steps that might help you resolve this issue:

  1. HomeKit Pairing Code: Ensure that you are scanning the HomeKit pairing code correctly. If scanning fails, try manually entering the pairing code.

  2. Restart Devices: Sometimes, simply restarting your iOS device and the AppleTV can help clear any cached errors.

  3. Update Everything: Make sure that your Aqara Home app, iOS, and AppleTV are all updated to their latest versions.

  4. Check the HomeKit Limits: If you are near the HomeKit accessory limit (100 devices), you might need to remove some devices to add new ones.

  5. Network and Router: Restart your router to ensure a stable network connection, as network issues can sometimes cause connectivity problems.

  6. Aqara App: Try pairing the lock directly through the Aqara Home app, as this sometimes works better than using the Apple Home app directly.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, it might be beneficial to reach out to Aqara Support for more targeted assistance. The community here can also be a great resource, so any additional tips from fellow users are very welcome!
