U200 broken when I back home

Hi. So my lock has stopped working too. I wrote to support and they are silent. I don’t want to lubricate it yet because it is under warranty and maybe some other firmware will help. I’m waiting for support to respond.

You should seek a replacement. I had a lot of issues with the u200. Bough when it first came out. The issue seems to be the lack of lubricant within the enclosed gear box. Upon consulting Aqara Shop UK , I found out an updated version was released which fixed this issue. As I got the item from Amazon, I contacted them for a refund. I purchased the new version which was housed in a larger box. I was pleasantly surprised to see the setup was much faster than the previous version - the new lock has been working beautifully without any unusual gear box noises - these are due more to hardware failure rather than firmware updates from my experience.

Thank you for the perfect answer. I have already dealt with Aqara support and the package is on its way. Thanks again. The support team was very professional after reading my message. I had to attach a recorded video. I am just sorry that I had already reported this problem with a video, based on other sounds, but I had to wait until the lock could not be opened at all. This should not happen at all

I had the same problem last week. I gave the lock to a service center located in the Moscow showroom. They said it is a common problem after six months of the U200’s release. A fixed U200 kit version 2 was released. They fixed my U200 in four workdays. “Gearbox replacement” in the service documents. Works like new!
