I had to flip my door lock to the other side and I had a problem doing that. It damaged the lock so I gave up on the lock. I’ve had the Schlage Connect lock before so I’m not new to locks. I have many Aqara products.
@mwcoen Thank you for sharing your experience with the U200 Door Lock. It sounds like you encountered a challenging situation when trying to flip the lock to the other side. The U200 lock can be somewhat particular in its installation process. Based on the reference information, if the lock becomes difficult to turn after installation, it might be due to screws being too tight or slight misalignment in the installation position. Additionally, updating the lock to the latest firmware via the Aqara Home app and performing an automatic or manual calibration might help resolve some issues.

I did give it another try and it is 100% user error. I didn’t fully follow the directions by removing the screws and by doing so it works fine. Thank you.

What are these screws?
If you need to flip the orientation of the lock, the online instructions highlight which screws you remove in order to rotate the lock. Then you re-insert the screws. Look for the bar code you scan in order to bring up the online instructions.
