Hi,
I have problem with my new SmartLock U200. I bought it from secondhand and it`s probably locked to user. Is there any reason how to delete account registration from this and use it on my own?
I have all receipts and papers about buying it.
Thank you very much

@info164 Hi Ondra,
Thank you for reaching out with your question about your secondhand Smart Lock U200. To reset the lock and clear the previous user’s data, you can follow these steps:
-
For Aqara Home Users:
- Press and hold the Lock and Confirm buttons on the keypad simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter Reset Mode.
- After the prompt, verify with the admin password or fingerprint. If correct, the lock will clear all user data and restore factory settings.
-
For Other Matter Ecosystem Users:
- Press and hold the Lock and Confirm buttons on the keypad simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter Reset Mode.
- After the prompt, press and hold the Reset button on the lock for 3 seconds. The lock will clear all user data and restore factory settings.
These instructions should help you reset the lock and allow you to register it under your own account. If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, I recommend contacting the Customer Service Team through the Aqara Home App (Profile > Help & Feedback > Customer Service) or by scanning the QR code:

I’m in the same boat.
Provided instructions doesn’t work.
Maybe support will help? I can provide receipt
I have not the admin password
Is there any reason to unlock it?
I sent your request, is it still valid?
Hello @info164
The administrator password is very important as it is a mandatory function for aqara locks, please contact the support service by email support@aqara.com I hope they can help you in this situation.
If you have the opportunity to contact the seller and find out his email from his Aqara home account, do it. This can help in restoring access to the lock.
