After updating firmware to v80 on my U200 I can no longer get manual calibration to work. Anyone else experiencing similar problems?
@david6 I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the manual calibration of your U200 after the firmware update. Here are a few steps you might find helpful:
-
Retry Calibration: Close the door and unlock it from the inside. Then, press and hold the Set button on the lock for 3 seconds to start calibration. If it beeps twice, calibration has failed.
-
Check Mounting Screws: Ensure that the mounting screws are neither too loose nor too tight, as this could affect calibration.
-
Use the Aqara Home App: Navigate to “Settings” > “Calibrate Lock” to attempt manual calibration through the app.
-
Firmware Update: Make sure that your device’s firmware is up to date. Go to Profile > Firmware Update, enable beta updates, and check for the latest version.
-
Lock Mode Adjustment: In the settings, switch the lock mode to “Standard” and attempt calibration again.
-
Final Adjustment with Key: If calibration still fails, try inserting the key and blocking the U200 during the last half-turn of calibration.
If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please reach out for further assistance. Community feedback is invaluable, so feel free to share any additional insights or solutions you discover!
I just purchased the U200 and also cannot get the lock to calibrate at all. I have tried the auto-calibrate option numerous times to no avail. When I select the manual calibration option, it states that I must complete the auto-calibration first.
Can anyone help me?
Have you tried removing the battery for a few minutes? Seems to be one of the recommended things to try.
@david6 thank you for the suggestion, however this did not change anything.
I have now read in many sources that this is a common issue with this lock and many people suggest just returning it and going with another brand.
Any other ideas?
If you are on v80 firmware then judging by the posts on here it has introduced loads of bugs. I also read there is a v81 rolling out so maybe that will fix issues. ![]()
Sure hope so.
I’ll give it a few days to hear back from customer support, otherwise it’ll be returned. Unreal.
I’m experiencing the same issue since upgrading from v77 to v80. Started with the Apple homekey issues as described in another topic, now the lock won’t turn clockwise anymore. At least not motorized, manually it works fine, but that is not what I bought a motorized lock for. ![]()
The lock is now unusable, since I can’t calibrate anymore.
All just worked fine as long as I was still on the previous firmware, so I don’t think the lock itself has a mechanical problem. Hope Aqara steps up soon to fix things!
Got the same problem🫤
Well mine has been ok with version 80 but one of my locks got version 84 and since that it’s has been acting up completely. Sounds like it’s trying to lock and unlock but not really moving and after 3 tries it’s actually locks…. Well until
Today where it just kept trying for like 5-7 times and then failed. Had to calibrate 2 times to get it to lock but still with a 3 tries before it works… Aqara definitely needs to make a stable FW for the lock ![]()
