U300 setup issues

New installation. Firmware update fails after download and reaching 100 percent of updating. Maybe it even tried twice. I tried multiple times. And I am close.

Says it connected to my M3. I see it listed in Aqara Home but status seems disconnected.

Fails when I try to establish a password when I am prompted to create the admin user. Tried multiple 6 digit passcodes. Was prompted to verify but then fails.

I am on same network as m3.

I have many other Aqara products working just fine. Including two U 100s. I suspect this is somehow matter related because this is my first with Aqara. I have many Apple TVs and home pods.

Power cycled.

I am generally tech savvy. So I know how it goes. Out of ideas.

For the doorlock firmware updating failed, you can refer to the below infos to check first:

  1. Please make sure that your device has good communication with the hub/wifi network. You can click on the device before upgrading. The gateway prompts that the connection is normal, or control the device in the App. If it is normal, then initiate the upgrade;
  2. For battery devices, please check whether your device has enough power. If the power is too low, the firmware upgrade may fail. Please charge or replace the battery and try again;
  3. Please make sure that you are using the latest version of the gateway and APP for the upgrade operation;
  4. Try to restart the device and router and try the firmware upgrade again
