Got the U400 set up and it works perfectly. I’ve enabled auto lock after 5 seconds when the door closes. I would like the lock itself to make a chime noise when it locks. So, when I’m walking away from the door (either leaving or entering the house), I hear a chime letting me know the door has auto locked.
I see in the Aqara app, under Voice & Sound, you can select to have an alarm notification when the door is unlocked or the door is not closed but not one for when the door auto locks. Seems pretty logical that you’d want to hear a chime as you’re walking away from your door simply confirming the auto lock feature has worked (especially when leaving home). Is this possible?
I don’t have an Aqara matter hub so using HomePod Mini. Also linked to Alexa. So I created an automation to have an echo spot make a chime when the door is locked. But that doesn’t help when I’m outside walking away from the door.

If you need this feature urgently, you can receive a beta firmware update using the steps below to access it in advance. (The beta firmware is now available)

The beta firmware may still contain unknown issues. In addition, once upgraded to the beta version, it is not possible to roll back to the previous firmware version.

Thanks for the update and great to hear it’s coming out in the next release. Will likely hold off on playing with the beta and just go with the official release. Thanks again.
I went ahead and updated to the beta 3.1.0.7 so I could turn on the notification sound when the door auto locks. You indicated above this feature was included in the update. But I can’t seem to find where the setting is to turn this on. Thought it would be under Voice and Sound and I still see the Door Unlocked Alert option but no new option for Door Locked Alert. Where might I find that setting to turn on? Thanks!!!

Disregard! I realize the chime was automatically added to the lock and no setting needs to be turned on in the app. Very cool! When you walk away from the door and it auto locks (I have it set for 5 seconds) you hear a chime on both the inside and out. Thanks and great job!! This lock is awesome.
