I’m using an U300 handle and considering an U400 for another door. Is there a recommended Kwikset cylinder for these? I don’t want to keep an additional key nor use the combination as shipped on these locks. Thanks!
Hi! I’m not from the US, so I’m not very familiar with the locks and products here, but as far as I know - U400 replaces your cylinder. It is mounted in place of your deadbolt and it has its own cylinder. You get a set of your new keys in the box.

Let me make it clear: I know that the lock comes with a set of keys, but my question is to specifically replace the lock cylinder it comes with with a Kwikset compatible one. Thanks!
As you may see in the manual or the reviews, the cylinder is actually integrated into the lock in a way there is no way to use another cylinder installed inside the U400.
