I have two U400 smart locks that I have been struggling to connect to the google home hubs I have for my home automation.
I am only able to successfully link the Aqara account in the Google home app which shows up as “simple security system” but doesn’t show any of the products. So, I figured I need to pair each device as well. Except when I try to pair the individual locks they never get past “setting up”. It spins for about 2-3 minutes then says “failed to pair”.
I’ve tried multiple resets and I make sure to hit the set up button once prior to attempting to pair. I also have my hub right next to the door locks when i try this (about 3-4 feet away). Am I missing a step? any advice?
