Had the new lock since launch. I was very happy already with the U100, but after hearing about UWB it was a no brainer. I’d been trying to create the same effect with location- based sensing and it wasn’t fast or accurate enough without killing my phone battery. The swap from 100 to 400 was effortless (I do wish there was some way to have the thumb print data encrypted and transferred). The newer firmware reacted better when auto locking, the UWB unlock works every time, the battery has been keeping up like expected. All and all it’s worth it. Maybe not getting the Apple deluxe pack with the extra battery would be my only regret, but that’s nothing an extra battery can’t fix in the future.

Hi, so what’s your use case w/ UWB? Is it just for location effect, so it opens the door automatically when you approach the door?
I have 3 U100, works great, although no plans to upgrade now, but would love to know what’s out there and if its worth my effort to upgrade.
