U400 works well but one door can’t tell if it is open

I have 2 U400 on front and back door. Using M3 and HomeKit with zen WiFi router. Had to get the router to support ipv6 which was a bit complicated but now UWB works for both my wife and I. The only issue is the back door can’t seem to tell when it is open. I enabled auto lock and even when the door is open the bolt is extended. In the Aqara app it shows the door is closed and locked I have calibrated several times but that doesn’t seem to work. The front door lock does show that it is open when the door opens but the back door does not. Otherwise it works really well and a very happy with it. Could turn off auto lock but we like the security of knowing the lock will not be left open. Is a bit annoying to deal with but not a huge issue. Tried the beta firmware which helped with other things but still does not register the open state correctly

What firmware are you on?

When I did the calibration it asked me twice to open fully and then shut. And it’s working great so far!

I am using the 3.1.0.7 and when I calibrate it does the two steps. Weird part is the lock on the front door works fine. Support suggested doing the dual door so am trying that as well.

Where did you get 3.1.0.7? Im on 3.1.0.4

3.1.0.7 is their current beta but has been tested but not released but they do recommend for a few bugs. To get it you have to go to the Aqara app and in settings go to firmware update and then select the three dots in upper right corner and the next screen lets you enable beta updates. Then go to the u400 card and when you select firmware update you will see the beta firmware that you can install

Ok so this turned out to be user error. For some reason I set an auto lock in home kit and of course that was a bad idea. As soon as I turned off auto lock in the home app it worked as it should. Lesson learned - do actions in the Aqara app not in homekit

I have seen similar problems, Apple wants to be able to run things, but its almost as if a manufacturer knows their own products better or something. lol.

So glad I commented on this post, I have the new update Queued up, "unleash motor performance, oh good!

I saw a couple improvements with the beta also the battery charging is supposed to be faster
