I’ve been really impressed with my Wyze Cams and their night vision capabilities, but there’s something puzzling me. I’ve noticed that even when I turn off the camera in the Wyze app, there’s still an audible relay click whenever the lighting changes. The app shows no video feed when the camera is off, which makes sense, but the relay is still cycling. It’s a bit concerning because it suggests the camera isn’t fully powered down.
This behavior is consistent across all my Wyze Cam Pan Version 1 units, and I’m up to date with the latest firmware and app updates. I’m wondering if this is normal or if there’s a setting I’m missing to ensure the camera is completely powered off when not in use. Has anyone else experienced this? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
