Hey everyone, I’ve been really inspired by the creative ways people are using their smart home devices, and I wanted to share a fun project I recently completed. I’ve always loved how Govee products add a bit of magic to everyday items, so when I saw their indoor music box, I knew I had to try something wild with it. A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon two old floor lamps that were just sitting around, gathering dust. They were functional, but definitely not exciting. I decided to give them a new lease on life by combining them with some LED strip lights and the Govee music box. The result? Let’s just say my living room now feels like a mini concert venue whenever the music starts playing. Here’s how I did it: I wrapped the LED strips around the lamps, making sure they were securely fastened. Then, I connected everything to the Govee music box, which I programmed to sync with my music playlists. The pulsing lights and the beats dropping create this amazing atmosphere—I even convinced my dog to join the dance floor (well, sort of). Some might think this is over the top, but I say, why not? Life’s too short for boring lighting. Plus, it’s been a great way to get creative with smart tech.
