Hello everyone! I wanted to share my recent experience upgrading my AI Sync Box 2 and how I managed to overcome some challenges along the way. As some of you might know, I’ve been using this device for a while now, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my smart home setup. The improved color accuracy and ability to connect more devices are features I truly appreciate.
However, when I upgraded from a 55" TV to a 65" one, I realized the strip light wasn’t going to work as effectively as before. I had a T2 strip that was perfect for my TV size, but I really wanted to stick with my Sync Box. So, I decided to get creative!
I came up with the idea of adding a strip light to the back of my TV and integrating it with my DreamView setup. This way, I could achieve the desired lighting effect without compromising on the features I loved from the Sync Box. It was a bit of a DIY project, but the results were worth it!
I thought I’d share some tips for anyone looking to do something similar:
- Measure Twice: Make sure you measure your TV’s dimensions accurately before purchasing any additional lights.
- Compatibility Check: Ensure that the strip light you choose is compatible with your existing setup and can be integrated seamlessly.
- Test First: Before making any permanent installations, test the setup to see how it works with your current devices.
This project not only solved my problem but also gave me a sense of accomplishment. It’s amazing how a little creativity can make such a big difference in your smart home experience!
I’d love to hear if anyone else has tried similar upgrades or has any tips to share. Let’s keep the DIY spirit alive! ![]()
