UPS Recommendation and Recording Continuity with G5 Pro Cameras and QNAP NAS During Power Outages

Hello Everyone,

I currently have a smart home setup that includes 4 Aqara Camera Hub G5 Pro (PoE cameras). The cameras record continuously to a QNAP NAS for 24/7 video storage. The 4 cameras are installed in different locations throughout the house and are connected via PoE to a Keenetic 8-port switch. The switch and the QNAP NAS are located together.
However, my Aqara Hub M3 is located in a different room and is connected directly to the main router through a separate Ethernet port rather than through the switch.
Power outages are quite common in my area. They usually last less than one or two hours, but sometimes occur several times during the same day. Because of this, I am considering purchasing a UPS to keep the critical parts of my system running during outages.
My question is: if I connect the PoE switch (which powers my four G5 Pro cameras) and the QNAP NAS to a UPS, will recording continue normally during a power outage? Or does the Aqara Hub M3 also need to be connected to a UPS?
Also, if anyone else uses a UPS for a similar purpose, I’d really appreciate any suggestions they might have.

Thank you in advance.

As long as the local network, G5 and QNAP the will be working, it should be good. The G5 has powerful hardware and it can function as a hub (hence the name), so it doesn’t need another hub to record to NAS. It just needs a working network setup (the internet is not required for continuous recording)
