Can I use generic nfc215 tags (stickers) to open the lock? The keypad seems to recognize a tag (light/sound appers when putting it near the keypad), but when I try to pair it in the user permissions in the app, the keypad seems not to accept it (the 15 seconds time out). Is there something specific that I need to write on the NFC tag so the keypad will accept it?

Are the tags empty, or did you write some text on the NFC tag using an app like “NFC Tool", for example?

I’m not sure if your tags will work, though. Mifare Classic 1K should work.

thanks for the warm welcome and the fast reply.
I had read the posts I could find about NFC tags in the forum. I wrote some text using NFC tool on the tag and initialized another one using the Home Assistant companion app. Both tags are somewhat recognized by the keypad (light and sound like when I put an unregistered finger on the fingerprint area) but will get no interaction when I try to pair them.
I was wondering if the Lock/Keypad expects something specific on the tag that I could write to it, does anyone know?
If not I will probably try one of the M Classic 1K tags.

I can’t say for sure, but according to the page linked below, MIFARE chips are designed for access control and ticketing systems, whereas this is not the case with the NTAG215.
