My new U400 works great with my iPhone and UWB; I can walk up to the door and the U400 unlocks as expected. However, if I leave my phone inside the house and walk up with my Apple Watch Ultra 2, the U400 doesn’t unlock with UWB.
I can open the Apple Wallet on my watch and unlock the door that way, but not hands-free, which is what I really want.
Any help would be appreciated.

I had to turn on UNLOCK ON APPROACH in the Apple Watch, in Wallet, for the Apple Home key. Worked immediately. SO COOL!
Glad you already got that resolved. I was just getting ready to respond to you with my research findings. Going to go ahead and post here in case future users encounter the problem.
Apple Watch UWB unlock isn’t automatic — you have to explicitly enable it in the Wallet app on the watch itself under settings. Check the watch: open Wallet, find your Home key, and make sure ‘Unlock on Approach’ is toggled on. If the Ultra 2 is still on an older watchOS (before 11.5), that would block it too.
