I wanted to share a little automation I set up that’s been super useful.
I use an Aqara Hub M2, Aqara Thread/Zigbee Smart LED Light Bulbs, and my SmartThings-connected Samsung Washer and Dryer together. While my washer and dryer already send notifications to my phone, I often miss them.
To fix that, I created an automation that turns my Aqara RGB bulbs red for one minute whenever the washer or dryer finishes a cycle. This gives me a clear, visual alert so my laundry doesn’t sit in the washer and get funky, or sit in the dryer and get wrinkled.
It’s been a simple but effective way to make sure I never miss a notification again!
