My W200 just started doing a reboot loop. After it starts up it turns on the AC and runs for about 20-30 seconds and then goes black and reboots. Any way to debug or reset the device?

Hi there.Well did you have try eliminate it from aqara app or it doesn’t let you?if doesn’t let you then see if you can take the power supply off and keep it without power a few min see if this helps.if still reboots you need to contact aqara support and see what they will tell you regarding the issue.
Hi, did you tried it to take it off electricity for some minutes and plug it on again?
Exactly what I told him ![]()
Thanks for the replies. Yes, I powered it off for a bit and then back on and it had same issue. I managed to get into the Advanced settings and do a Factory reset before it rebooted. It reset the settings but after a couple minutes of being online it started the reboot loop again. I didn’t add it to Zigbee or the Aqara app after the reboot.
Please contact the Aqara support and add a video of it!
I was asking support. But does anyone here know the pinout on the back of the device without the baseplate? I want to power Rc and common with a 24VAC to see if it reboot loops while off the wall.
If you’ve already done a factory reset and power cycle and it’s still doing the boot-run-black screen-reboot cycle, that’s pointing at hardware, not a config issue — sounds like it might not be getting stable power once the AC relay kicks the load. I wouldn’t mess with pinout testing outside the wall if you can avoid it, might void your warranty. I’d push Aqara support for a straight replacement at this point.
When I was beta testing the W200 (I now run 2, the original beta test unit and a new purchased unit. We have two AC systems) I had it wired up correctly and it powered on just fine. First time I kicked it into heat mode it popped, electrical smell, and wouldn’t turn back on. Point of me saying this is that hardware issues aren’t out of the norm.
I agree this could be. I don’t have a good way to test that which is why I wanted to bench test the device to rule out the device as being an issue or a firmware issue. My issue sounds different than your latter issue as this one does still seem to power on fine.
It could be wiring issue but my backup thermostat is working fine so at least from the wire bundle to the unit seems fine. Possible one wasn’t getting good connection in the quick release base wire holders. But it started itself without any intervention so I didn’t immediately think it was a wire issue.
You could check the cables each one by one and see if there is none of the loose as if one is just a bit loose can do that try screwing each a bit more not to much to not break something.and if this you already done it and still doesn’t work then is like @Outburstin mention.
