I know this not an Aqara problem, but Google Home has a Matter bug where it only displays in Celsius. Considering this is a US launch where Fahrenheit is used, that isnt good.

Is there any way to let us add the thermostat to Google Home via the “works with google” old way not adding with Matter to get around this? There is no telling when Google will fix this, its been reported as a bug for 6 months now: Google Issue Tracker and Google Issue Tracker and they only finally fixed sensors, but not thermostats and with zero timeline offered.

@jk1211 You seem to be experiencing an issue where Google Home displays the thermostat in Celsius due to a Matter bug and want to add the thermostat via the old “works with google” method instead of Matter.
