I am disappointed that the W200 does not support variable speed Furnace fans. This is easily accomplished in Software as the thermostat lets the HVAC handle the fan speed.
I have installed 4 of these and ripped them out as 2 of my units are 2 stage cooling and variable speed fans. I was looking forward to using them and the other product but return them and going to Ecobee as there’s has the function and with there sale and power company rebate the Premium unit 260 normally is now 140.

@kbleguy I hear you — that’s genuinely frustrating, especially after installing four units and having to rip them out. Variable speed fan support is a real gap for setups like yours with 2-stage cooling and variable speed blowers.
From the specs we have, the W200 supports 2-stage heating/cooling for furnaces and ACs, but the fan control side is limited: it handles fan coil units via 0-10V signal or 3-speed settings, and the standard fan modes are Auto/On/Timer — no variable speed furnace fan control mentioned. Your point about it being “easily accomplished in software” is especially sharp since the thermostat could theoretically let the HVAC board manage its own variable speed curve.

For what it’s worth, the Ecobee Premium at $140 with rebates is a steal — hard to beat that value for your use case right now.
