I can’t seem to get the weather widget in the screensaver and custom screens to work, I’ve attempted setting the home and device locations and I’m not sure what’s going on.

You probably haven’t enabled the location permission for the Aqara APP.
Path in the APP: Bottom-left corner Profile → Setting → System Permission → Location
