W500 smart schedules & manual presets

So I love the idea of the smart schedules - but struggling with the manual side of it.
Has anyone managed to trigger manual presets using automations or anything like that?
I’d love to be able to trigger “out for the day” scene and all the W500’s switch to a manual preset.
Then another scene “I’m home” switches back to the smart schedule.

Anyone else got a way round this or any thoughts?
Feels like quite a major automation capability missing?

Currently I’m not using the schedule at all and just using automations for all my temperature changes - but it’s overly complicated

@rich11 You seem to be experiencing an issue with triggering manual presets for the W500 via automations and switching between manual presets and smart schedules.
