From a design perspective, the w600 thermostat is great. But from a functionality perspective, it’s a piece of crap. Will aqara support finally do something about it? @XT-XianTang

I can agree with that.
Its the currently best designed TRV on the marked.
Software is crap.
Also, iam curious about the 2 wire dc motor moving the Valve Pin.
I took one device apart and watched the hardware inside and figured out, there are only 2 wires going to the DC motor. i dont know how they track the position of the pin.
Other brands TRVs using stepper motors where they can exactly set the steps to know where the pin is.

Today it happened to me again that the thermostat in zigbee showed 0% opening but the radiator was heating. This control is useless !!!

Did you recalibrated it? I noticed the original Batteries are very very weak. After replacing the batterys, the shaft was driving much further and were closing the radiator properly.
Yes. After calibration, it was fixed. But I didn’t change the batteries. I just noticed that the radiator is heating even though it’s not. I can’t keep an eye on all the radiators like this.
How many of you have taken them off and replaced them with your old ones? I’m doing that today!! All schedules are cancelled, set to manual indefinitely and heating off. And guess what… they still starts heating when they feel for it! I’m so done with Aqara and I am still hoping for a collective claim for all our money back campaign. We have officially been scammed.

I agree, I have sent the seller a claim today for a full refund based on EU 2-year legal guarantee (Directive 2019/771). Waiting for an official response.
Legend says that if you factory reset the hub, re-pair the thermostat 5 times, and whisper “Zigbee” three times into the mirror at midnight, the temperature offset might actually stay saved for more than two consecutive days. Just don’t look at the Aqara app while doing it, or a mandatory firmware update will detect your happiness and delete your entire configuration.

The seller was very quick to respond. I was granted a full refund, waiting for it to arrive. It’s back to my old Tados for now.

No problem, if you are in the EU and within first year of purchase, you can do the same. Should you need, I can send you the letter I wrote for this. The seller did not complicate at all and as I saw from their comments: “The case was consulted with AQARA Support, who approved a refund.”
