Hi, I have a problem with the T1 water valve, on Homekit it appears as a switch and when I tell Siri to turn off everything it ends up closing the water too. How can I make it appear on HomeKit in the water category also as a faucet or sprinkler?

I only see 3 options in HK: Fan, Light, or Switch. My 3 T1 valves are set to Switch and are in a separate room in HK. You could set up a separate room for the T1 valves (or maybe a separate “home”) and be specific when saying “Turn off Living Room, etc.”. Or set up an Automation in HK to turn off those specific items that you want off.

Unfortunately, Aqara exposes the water valve as a switch, either through HomeKit or Matter. If you have other setups (such as Zigbee2MQTT and HomeBridge), you can manually set it up to be exposed as a valve and display it correctly in Apple Home.
