What do you plan to do with the FP300 giveaway

My initial thought is to set the FP300 in our combined kitchen/dining/living room and trigger lights based on presence in each of the sections. Maybe look into other automations as well.

Automate Kitchen lights depending on zone

Great plan. I will use it in my open basement to control lighting depending on presence in zones (office space, TV space, Peloton)

I want to try and use a few of them to set up home assistant pages based on the room I’m currently in. Toggles and pages would change if I walk into the kitchen vs bedroom vs garage etc.

My plan is to control my kitchen ambient lighting (made with @aqara @lighstrips) depending on the time and zones I’m working in

I plan on using it in my office to keep the lights on while I am working

Probably in my home gym/storage space to control lights and a TV based on where I am in the space. Or, it could be in my Lower Level to control lights based on where we are sitting.

I would love to replace my PIR sensor in my bathroom with a mmWave sensor. We’re in an apartment and I can’t wire anything up in there, so have to rely on batteries. Right now I have a PIR sensor in there but it’s not terribly reliable, especially when the temp/humidity is high.

To replace bathroom Hue sensor for sure and activate lights based on time and presence. Another one is for hallway.
But looking on the thread where we have over 1k+ interested, the chances to get it earlier are getting low with every hour  I wonder how long it’ll take to finally release it.

Will the FP300 do the zone mapping thing in a single big room? If so I think I will play with that.

Oh, I’m also wondering if it can be hidden behind a surface so it’s not mounted in view.

Replace the movement sensors so I am not left in the dark in my kitchen or garage when the sensor doesn’t recognise I’m still there but not moving much. It is infuriating!! Lol
