I’d have to say the TVOC air quality sensor. It needs to be reset and reconnected every few weeks. This is a common complaint about this device and has never been fixed.

FP2… FP1E works much better
I have quite a few of Aqara devices:
My first was aqara temp sensor. Smallest i have found and works perfectly (i have them by now 5-6) and one is dropping connection but others works flawlessly.
Then i bought FP2, works like a charm. Only thing that does not work anytime is when there is no people, it does not switch to not present every time. But when there is none people and someone is coming, it detects every time perfectly.
Then i bought vibration sensor: works perfectly. Zero problems what so ever.
Next i wanted to see whats this aqara hub about and bought used M1S (not Gen2). I use it now as my doorbell only.
Then went to ceiling lamp… i had to buy my next hub… so M2… it works but i use it only as doorbell and gateway for ceiling lamp. Try’d to use IR blaster also but i don’t need it because i can do anyting over LAN better than over IR.
Then i got Aqara Cube… nice thing to play but not very much everyday use for it.
I bought a couple on wireless buttons (one for doorbell and one for open my U200 lock from inside)
Then bought aqara door/window sensor … love it. It just works, it’s small, it’s invisible… no problems at all probably smallest door sensor there is.
Then i bought U200 lock, works perfectly. There is couple of things i expect to be there but… this is my expectation 
problem.
Next i needed to buy newer hub… i dont want them at all, so i went to M100 way because i understood that if lock is paired with aqara hub, i can add users remotely to have access, but nah, i need to be by the lock to do that, so no point to have newer hub for U200 lock. It does not give you anything.
And now my latest purchases was Wireless remote switch H1 (double rocker). Love it and i use all 9 combination to start my scenes and lights (9 not 7 like when you pair it to aqara hub).
So, i use hubs for doorbell because i have them. If I didn’t have them, I wouldn’t miss them either. I only need one hub m100 is enogh for ceiling lamp. I don’t need doorbell and i don’t need it for lock. I automate everything i. HomeAssistant (Zigbee2MQTT) and they work perfectly
So for me top three pointless things are M1S hub and M2 Hub and Cube. But top worst things are HUBs. They don’t give anything extra (exept dynamic light for ceiling lamp). If i can see usefulnes for Cube, HUBs are absolutely useless.
So, if someone needs somesort of hub for 1-2 devices… use M100 hub and don’t waste money for other hubs. Everything else is done by Home Assistant (and HomeKit (i’m in apple ecosystem))
Remembered: i have also T1 Valve Controller (works perfectly)
And one Wall Outlett H2 EU (i like it, works perfectly) but i dont like that there is no USB charger built in) but overall, i like it.
I have Ceiling Light T1M, Homey Bridge, Homey Pro and Aqara Hub M3, there’s nothing useless. All works perfect.

They work as they meant to work but this is less than Home Assistant can offer. And those who uses home assistant, to then it is useless because home assistant does more (in most case) ceiling light dynamic light is exeption
What is the purpose of this post? Certainly there are devices that work better than others or have better function for your use-cases over mine (and vice versa). Everyone’s set up is different. Your energy and effort here would be better spent writing a post making a case technically why it would benefit Aqara and their customers to open up for more direct hub-less, Home Assistant support rather than ranting about why you hate their products??
I prefer Homey as everything is easier to setup, no need for all DIY. I love Homey’s design, and everything that’s impossible i’ve bee able to make it possible.

I think thar well over half aqara devices are used with no aqara hub… so if they maybe reading this post… start doing something that more people would want to use their hub not some other
Also, everybody can tell something good about everything when emotions are up, this does not help to improve new things and devices.
